The free visibility report

When you request a free local visibility report, we collect the website, business name, city, first name and email address you enter, the services you list (if any), and whether you ticked the box to receive tips from us.

To build the report we read the pages of the website you entered and look up public information about the business: its Google Business Profile, Google search results for its area, and public data about which websites link to it. We only use information that anyone can see. The report is not an official audit of the business.

We email the report to the address you gave us, with a link to download it. The link stops working after 90 days.

We send the report whether or not you ticked the tips box. We only send you anything else if you ticked it, and every email has an unsubscribe link.

The contact form

When you use the contact form, we collect what you enter (your name, business name, email, phone, trade, website and message) and use it to reply to you and prepare for our call.

Keeping the site safe

The report form uses Cloudflare Turnstile to check that a person, not a bot, is filling it in. Cloudflare processes information about your browser to do this. We do not store your IP address; we keep a scrambled version of it, which can't be turned back into the address, to stop the same visitor requesting too many reports.

Who we share it with

We don't sell your information. We use service providers to run our tools: hosting and database providers, an email provider to send your report, and the data providers we use to look up public search and Google Business Profile information. They handle the information only to provide those services to us.

How long we keep it

We delete report requests, and the reports themselves, after one year unless you become a client. If you become a client, we keep the information as part of your account.

Your choices

You can unsubscribe from our emails at any time with the link in any email. To see, correct or delete the information we hold about you, email [email protected] and we'll take care of it.
